Our oldest macerated absinthe with a thujone content of 10 mg / l. It is an excellent type of absinthe prepared according to an old recipe from the period of Napoleonic France. Thujone is obtained by maceration of wormwood in grain alcohol. Maceration is one of the most suitable methods for obtaining the best taste and aromatic properties from a herbal mixture. Staroplzenecký absinthe can be also used for mixing various cocktails.
